Hello.I am Jiang Yu Tong from China Dalian.
3 months after enrollment at ECC, a student may obtain a part-time job. I began my part-time job after 3 months at ECC. I worked at a coffee shop, because I was not very good at Japanese yet, so I worked in a kitchen at a restaurant. Even though I had to cook some food, but it was very easy work. Each Japanese staff member and the shop manager were good to me. We often did things together, so I had a great time. The hourly wage was 950 yen. Regrettably, the store had been moved to YOKOHAMA, so I got a new part-time job in June this year. It's a mixed grill restaurant. I made progress in Japanese so I became an attendant at a hole now. I work serving guests, occasionally making drinks and taking orders. The hourly wage is 900 yen.
I believe it isn’t difficult to obtain a part-time job in Japan. You can refer to many books which have the information about part-time jobs, and can also get information on the internet. A lot of stores display job recruitment advertisements behind their windows. Now I work for 3 hours a day, 3days a week, because I want spend more time studying Japanese. I am now living a full and rich life in Japan!
