Ms. Shizuka / Comprehensive Japanese Language Course (1 year)(Taiwan出身)
What kind of things have you been able to do in Japanese?
I've made Japanese friends. I still can't speak fluently, but I can say what I want to say. I can feel my improvement when I watch dramas or read newspapers and magazines. I can understand the content more than before!
How are the classes at the ECC Japanese Language Institute?
ECC classes are not taught in the typical old school way.
They focus on practical daily conversation while teaching new grammar. Students learn practical skills by speaking with Japanese teachers. The bi-weekly presentations allow us to train our speaking skills as well as our Japanese writing skills and our ability to present in front of a large audience. What I feel I have improved the most in the past eight months is that I am now able to properly convey what I want to say in Japanese. Even if the grammar and words are not all correct, I think the most important thing in learning a language is to have the courage to speak. If you have the courage to speak, you can correct any mistakes you make.
How are the teachers and staff at ECC Japanese Language Institute?
The teachers' teaching style makes it very easy for foreigners to understand. Each teacher is unique, serious, and deeply interested in their students. They adjust the content and schedule of the classes according to the progress and situation of the students.
